Yep, the older style and my favorite. I love SC traps but wasn't a fan of the pan change.
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Yep those are older style and they were awesome coon traps! I bought a few dozen in 1990s when those came out! Round pans, adjustable tension, nice springs. And you got the double jaw models, too. Held a lot of huge coon in those at land sets. Jim

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

I had some n sold them couple years back, great traps, my bad. Saw a dz nib at Pa convention this year for $ 110.00. Talked to guy from Southern snares who bought Sleepy Creek out, long spring traps are going to be made again, be patient.

I have a couple dozen of the older style identical to the one the OP pictured. They are great traps that will hold the largest of coons.
Eh...wot?

I have a couple dozen of the older style identical to the one the OP pictured. They are great traps that will hold the largest of coons. My plan for these are pocket and blind sets along creeks here. That means everything from muskrats mink and possums to big raccoons and an off chance at an otter. Did you have any issues with the center swiveling? Better than having the chain on a spring or a corner of the frame?

how are they compared to the victor #11s? ive never had experience with the sleepy 11s..........are they fast?? that's why I dislike the duke 11s..........close wayyyy to slow. ps.....not a duke hater I own many dozens of duke 1.5 coils and bodygrippers and catches me lots of fur..........just not a fan of the longsprings.
