I had a raccoon rip up the trigger on my live trap and would like some help as to what gauge wire to make the “pan” out of and is there a special “hog ringer “ to use to attach it to the trap. Thanks,

I would guess the old wire was 14 ga. That is what most cages are made of. I would go with 12.5 ga and it should hold up. You can use any hog ring pliers for hog rings or lust lace it on with bailing wire.
