What is particularly irksome about this issue is the President is able to go on national TV, lie through his teeth and 99% of the media response is to accept it.....even parrot the lies.
I have a pretty good understanding of the various State voting bills, and nearly all of them designed to make voting easy, but hard to cheat. Compare that with HR 1 with the President supports.......that make is easy to vote and even easier to cheat. HR1 seeks to take all the safeties off the election process to enable them to steal any election they need to to remain in power forever.

And they get away with the lies. Any serious journalist would compare the two and call them out on it. That they don't says as much about the news media as the guy doing the lying.

Even SOME of the cool aid drinking Trump haters are now seeing how biased he media truly is.

They made up lies the last 5 years and are still covering up for the Dems. Sad situation our media is in, and social media is as bad if not worse because they have the ability to silence free speech.

A utility bill is considered enough ID in some voting places to be acceptable as ID. The only thing this is about is making it very easy to vote illegally. Period.

On the ID thing. I'm reminded of a great uncle born in 1905 that would argue that he didn't exist as he had no birth certificate and didn't have a SS# until late in life.
But he had a drivers license even though he was legally blind. LOL

As I understand it there are citizens living there for 20 or more years that are undocumented.Why? because the laws against it have not been enforced or are unenforceable.
When laws cease to be enforced they are eventually dropped from the statutes-people know this and are just preparing to give these citizens a way to vote.

The reason laws are not enforced are because the majority of people view them as irrelevant, unpopular, or a majority benefit (in this case the demand for workers supercedes their status) from not recognizing obsolete laws.

I went to the dump because they were taking electronics this week at no cost. I had to show a I.D. to drop off two old televisions. But people shouldn't have to show one to vote? Go figure.

I am afraid it will get worse, much worse. Before it ever gets better, if at all.

Back in the Spring, when we got the jab, we were asked for our drivers license. Week ago I went in to pay a cell phone bill and was asked for a ID. What if I don't have one? They would not accept payment.

Yesterday went to a bank to open new accounts. No ID, no account, no exceptions.

Anyone and everyone who wants an ID can get one.

Where the problem lies is those who cannot get an ID because they are not eligible for one. Think illegal alien. Objection to requirement of the ID is it prevents those not eligible to vote from getting registered and voting. Country is currently being flooded with millions of potential voters if they can find a way to get them on the voter rolls. Requirement of an ID thwarts that plan.

Some of it is also the Democrat race theory that many blacks have warrants and they won’t vote fearing showing an ID will cause “the man” to swoop in and arrest them.

Not to mention all of the deceased voters have a hard time presenting an ID! Lol
