Is there ever a place they work better than a coil spring? I only have coils in my arsenal.

They look better hanging on a wall in an antique type of way.

I liked the long springs for coon better if you can't get him drowned quickly. A coon in a good solid place can turn himself out of a coil spring.

To me they don't seem to freeze down as quickly as coilsprings
But then I don't cover traps with dirt very often. Those springs can be hard to blend in from time to time
But that's why I practice bed a few before season.
