According to the Next News Network, information from Townhall and the Hollywood Reporter, the Nielsen ratings indicate this years game was the second lowest in the history of the game with 8.2 million viewers. It was only 100,000 higher than the lowest viewership which was in 2019. However, this years viewership may have been the lowest since it included out of home viewers and the 2019 game didn’t. As Next News Network said, go woke, go broke.

I made a personal decision to not watch the all-star game when they boycotted Atlanta because the GEORGIA legislature passed laws to bring back integrity to their election process.Good for the state of Georgia.And I did not watch the all-star game this year.

They don’t support the Nation why should the Nation support small factions with their own agendas.

I didn't like it that so many of the stars chose not to participate. It used to be an honor to participate in the All Star game.

I don't think college sports is much better. Coaches make more than professors, some players go to college not to learn but instead look at it more as a 1 & done type stepping stone to the pro's, & now the players will get paid.

The mlb all star game is still probably the best of all 4 sports.

Those new All Star uniforms were hideous.

Many NL fans are tired of the AL winning it every year.

I remember many years where the Brewers only had 1 All Star, and that was because the league requires each team to have an All Star. With the Brewers hot streak, baseball is a big thing among many in Wi, and it's helped that 5 Brewers have made the A-S team 3 years in a row.

The game itself this year was entertaining, and Fox did a great job of getting players mic'd up in ways I've never seen before. I don't think it's enough to keep fans enthused though, and I don't blame anyone that refuse to watch.

I enjoyed Chipper Jones talking about pitcher “tells“ and it reminded me there is plenty for them to discuss about the sport they don’t need to be political.

Sharing of politics is limiting a lot of businesses and sports will be no exception.
