Mine was stupid expensive and stressful. First a child breaks the fire door in the garage Friday night. Finally got it hung today. This afternoon a child decided to remove caulking from the tub/ shower and flooded the bathroom. Water all over the house too. This evening I discovered a screw in my tire. No plug kit on hand.

Quality time spent with your kids. Doesn't get any better than that.
I get to work night shift. Not just the weekend but Monday and Tuesday also. 12 hour shifts as an added bonus. For extra fun I get to go in on dayshift Thursday and Friday.

First weekend we didn't have the great-granddaughter in a long time. It was quite but we missed her

Had a great weekend. Ton of exercise, yard work, shopping, spent time with family. Jim
Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Spent Saturday morning getting things started to run underground electric and water line for my daughter's cabin. Then to the house to get smoker going since my wife told her folks I would cook. Went to mow while smoker going and electric clutch would not engage. Did some swearing, took mower out from under it, messed with it and got it going. Put it back together and nada so said some more choice words. Finally figured out the battery was shot (been jumping it off for nearly a year, why spend $50 when you are using it once a week and easy to jump ? :D) Got yard mowed and everyone fed. Sunday ran all my PVC for electric and water. Turned water on and knew pressure was excessive. Closed valve on end and saw small leak and then another joint blew apart. Got it all glued back and drying again. Will pick up a pressure regulator too. And Saturday night the daughter's boyfriend asked if he could marry her So depending how you look at things it was bad or great. I think it was great, I can do a lot of things myself and daughter's BF is a good guy that treats her like a princess

Enjoy your half day off Jerry. The overtime here and staffing shortage is nuts. It is so bad here that they are bringing back retirees to help with unloading the railcars and loading the conveyors. I have not seen a 'normal' paycheck since some time last year. At least one overtime per check, many times it was two. It is only going to get better, we have about half dozen or so people looking to retire in the next year. I guess there are worse things to be complaining about.

Lots more to do for the kids In the summer In WI then In Alaska. If you want to do something In Alaska you have to drive for 4 hours. Drive 10 mins to the lake and fill up on perch and gills. Or head down to the trout stream and catch a few browns. Then of coarse we trapped 23 wood chucks on my adc job. I paid them well for their help. Then we have a bunch of water parks In the area and that kept them happy.

Did some ADC work 45 miles to look at 3 traps added another one, a sandy clay mud no fun keeping the boots on. Finished a wood job moved the last trailer of ash to the pile I’m done with that job. Grandkids coming today for a few days they are taking the Grandma to the Black Hills with them. I have critters to take care of for the neighbor and myself and a transport mid week.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!
