I didn't know they still had professional ball anymore.
I believe the last game I saw was in person and the Houston Oilers played the Oakland Raiders at the Astrodome in Houston. We drank beer with Ken Stabler before the game as he wasn't playing that day.
Sit on your horse on top of a ridge, look out across the country and tell me there is no God.

Never been to a pro game, one college about fifty years ago, and maybe half doz high school games. Guess it took that much to find out that I hate football! That is one of the big reason kids don't trap today, parents push them to sports. Thank goodness it wasn't that way when I was growing up. When dad and I had that conversation, he pushed me away from it, and I did the same with my kids. A resounding no to the question, never have been interested, not gonna start now. Would gladly drive the final spike in their coffin!
Jack is the man, I've only been off the boob tube since ovomit got reelected. Way to go Jack!

Pro Sports? Who has time? Lee is right. Media entertainment and sports teams are the 21st century trainings for many of our culture's children. As I hear of the "tournaments" that my 8-12 year old grandkids are involved in, that start at 0 dark thirty on Saturday and last until late, and then resume again at 0 dark thirty Sunday and last until whenever... I wonder how it can be that smart humans can be so dumb. We take simple things and make them so complex (10 year olds playing "World Series") that life's simple joys are literally sucked outta life. Bleary eyed kids and parents alike saying, "This is fun," as they compete nonstop for trophies no one will cherish as the urgency of the schedules dictates their living. Go. Go. Go. I guess the old ways of a few games for a few weeks on a Friday afternoon just weren't good enough. Not happy with a few games as a family. Need more games. Still not happy as a family. Add more games. Until kid sports has now become "Select teams" for 8 months for young kids and World Series tournaments every other weekend. Were sports meant to be political or time consuming or stress filled? Not sure, but no pro sports for this trapper and no more Cokie Cola either. But I still like skunk quill

Nope. Love football but love my country and the freedom it stands for even more. College football has gotten a bit political but I figure now that college ball is a paying gig it will likely go the way of the NFL. As for football and trapping, football on the high/junior high school level ended about the time fur was getting prime so it never slowed me down.

They just keep digging themselves a deeper hole. Haven't watched since the NFL sided with Kaepernick.

Well I absolutely love HS football. The NFL, NBA and MLB I could care less about. When they got political I was done with it. It stinks because I'm an hour away from Cleveland and when the Browns finally get a little something going and worth watching I boycotted them. I was a Packer fan from way back and my Pa got me liking them, went thru lots and long lows with them. Now with Arron Rodgers I'm completely turned off by them as well, really a shame. LeBrons main home here in Akron is 3 miles from my shop. I used to love the guy and thought a lot about him as a person, I can't even stand to look at him now.
