Only it's not smoke filtering the sunlight. It's heavy dark clouds. Thundered since 3 A.M. this morn . And all the rain that hit the ground was about 10 drops. We're getting dry and need some rain . if not it won't be good for the yields or hay tonnage. I hear much of western USA is dry............ and hot! Remember "Forbidden Fruit makes many Jams"

We are in the exceptional drought category for the first time since record keeping began. A lot of fields weren't cut because there wasn't enough grass to justify the expense. nvwrangler OP trapper N Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 4,838 Nevada	I'm about half way between 2 big fires, the Dixie fire near Susanville Ca Nd the Tamarack fire near Topaz lake . Dang 2nd hand California smoke. Susanville hasn't had power for a week and no date on when they'll get power back.
