Took a job in Oxford, so I’ll be moving from Tuscaloosa from the first time in my life! Looking forward to land trapping with grown-up sized body grips and 36hr checks! Going to be a new challenge.

I just left from visiting relatives in Stark Vegas today. Drove through Tuscaloosa. Heat and humidity was about the same.

Oxford seems to be about the same as Tuscaloosa except the sales tax rate is 3% lower in Oxford. Town is a lot smaller than Tuscaloosa though. I’m sure if you get into rural MS it would be about the cheapest place in the country to live.

It's worth it for being able to have fresh produce from the garden year round. Fish year round without fear of hard water. No snow to speak of. Live within a few hours of the gulf beaches and the best seafood in the country.

I enjoy hard water fishing…as you can see…it’s very relaxing… And I have a jig rod in my right hand ,just in case.
