The GoPro has GPS in it and I had no idea what my speed was until i watched the video and added the speedometer overlay. I could change the gears in the v-drive and get more speed but there is no reason for me to push my luck. It has plenty of punch and is a lot of fun. The conditions on our lake are not conducive to going that fast most of the time. But I wanted to test out the GoPro and got geared up just in case the planets lined up and gave me enough calm water to hold the pedal down a little longer.

I really like cracker boxes, post some pics for us of your boat.

Friend of ours took this photo of us going by last Sunday when I took the wife for a cruise. My wife loves it with an occasional launch on a little stretch of calm water.

Once a gear head…always a gear head. I had a set up like that on a 454 Chevy motor …in my 57 Chevy Station Wagon [Linked Image]
