Well done by both Father and Son.

Keep the other kids away from it when you can they live to pull on them then look surprised when they pull something off doing that, just kids being kids but it still sucks. I just had 2 mink sent in to replace damaged ones from GFP talks.

That’s pretty cool!

Gotta add an Otter if your allowed to trap them.

Just might be able to market his future furs to make some money for more equipment , fishing trips or hunting. Again young man, nice job. Sarge

We have a quota of one otter if I remember right, and I absolutely agree with you. We also need a red on there. Not many around here though so we’ll be taking a trapping road trip this year to catch a few. He has started his next build already. [Linked Image]

Great idea on giving back to the landowners. Acts of kindness like that are how you get access to places that make other trappers and hunters jealous. Good job!

Gotta live up to the nickname...

FD - We are allowed 3 otter per license statewide and not knowing your county, your area is probably 1 bobcat per license. But, if you are in the lower 3 tiers of Iowa you are allowed 3 bobcat per license. His wall of pride is much nicer than mine as mine are just pinned to the wall. Very cool project for his efforts. I have given tanned pelts of critters I have caught to different landowners over the years. Most have been that problem beaver, otter or the bobcat they got on a trail cam. The landowner appreciated the gesture every time it has been offered. As said it would be an excellent way to raise funds for his future endeavors, plus a great work ethic for the future
