I got a chance to buy several Sleepy Creek 1000’s new in the box. That was their 330. Anybody have any experience with them? Love them, hate them, or what? They were a fairly high priced trap in their day.

I have a couple I started off with Clay. Still have and use them. Better than Bridger or Victor IMO, but for the money I chose Belisle. I think the Sleepy Creeks are stronger than the Victors I bought at the same time. And they stay set. My Bridges were fired and empty a lot.

I trap for fun. I skin 'em for the money!

I had some SC 220s several years ago. Spring eyes slip over the corners easily. I hate that. Sold them. Springs were strong though.

Had Victor 280s and 330s that did same thing...sold them too.

I need them like I need a shotgun for squirrel hunting (inside joke for everyone’s info).
I’ve got 7 dozen belisles.
I’ve got a trap buying problem. They are too easy to buy right now lol
