life's not fair , a Fair is a place with Carnies and Rides and isn't fair either.

I know it isn't popular and a lot of people want to think of God like a helicopter mother who swoops in and fixed things every time any thing goes wrong


I think part of why we call him father , is that he is more like a father that will let you learn your lessons , the wisdom was given , he might just pull you out before you get real hurt , but you don't learn with everything being free and easy.

and he can help you out of a bind in strange ways , often ways you can't even see

be kind to others , help them when you can , you might just be gods messenger or helper that day

if you don't believe in god , don't sweat it , be kind and do what you can , maybe you will still be gods hands one day to the person who needed it.

It"s a difficult concept to grasp how pain, suffering and trials are a necessary part of the Lord's Eternal Plan of Happiness. We naturally see things through mortal eyes which lack the eternal perspective of what he has in store for his children.

The faithful are promised a life of hardship and the only one whose ever said that's not fair is playing for the seed of the serpent team.
Well actually he quarterbacks that entire spiritual team.

Prosperity Gospel and Retribution Theology are not aligned with the New Covenant in Christ's blood, but they do appeal to those who want, want, want.

Good point. My grandmother, a very devout Catholic who went to daily Mass for my whole life at least, hammered the reason for and importance of hardship and suffering into all of us. I may not attend Mass as much as she would have liked (not even close) but those lessons are important nonetheless.

The Prosperity Gospel makes me cringe. Surely Jesus doesn't bless the faithful with new cars and fancy houses and, I guess, make the poor suffer because they lack faith or are otherwise not worth of his blessings. Total nonsense to me.
