Dang,up since 2 and no sleep in sight. Plenty of work to do and kid sitting and hauling too. Surviving on 4 hrs a night at this age just doesnt get it.
It worked until 50"s but not 60"s.
Waiting walmart to open at 6 just to get active. Im bored

West river rogue, hang in there and keep busy during day but get your sleep when you can.
Keep fighting the good fight, man.

I take Ambien. Don’t recommend it but it has helped me since 2002. Started at 5mg. A few month later I was upped to 10. Went back to 5 for a few years now. Need to cut that in half then try cold turkey.

Lack of sleep can be a major cause of depression.

Start with two 5mg tablets. Take them about an hour before you go to bed.

Sorry, I clicked on the wrong post. I meant Melatonin. Start with two 5mg tablets. Take them about one hour before you go to bed. Reading also helped me too prior to bedtime.

I hear opium will make you nod off.
Seriously just sleep when you get tired, quit trying to sleep by the clock.

I get that way from time to time. I take a real hot shower to get my muscles to relax (especially my lower back muscles).
I also drink one beer. The key is ONE beer. A beer likes company. Don't give it any, it will become bored, and put you to sleep.

I can totally relate. I have spent my whole life going on 5 hours of sleep or less. I've been up since 2:30 today . Even as a kid, I never slept well and now I'm 61. Have tried everything known to man, believe me nothing has worked. Actually the older I get, the worse it's became. And this is working 12 to 14 hours a day, manual labor outside I've given up and just have learned to live with it.
