Puttin holes in the black spot, huh....love flintlocks!
Always wondered if A right handed person would be able to shoot a left-handed flintlock better. Because the flash would be toward the eye that's already closed

you built that, yes?
curious why no rear sight?
BEAUTIFUL, btw!
what's the load for that caliber? Remember a guy on here “ Taste like Chicken “…. He built the gun. This gun is built period correct…so no rear sight, for this Tulle de Chasse. The load is 90 grains of 2FF….015 patch and .600 ball.

Wow. Minute of deer for sure. He made one fine looking firearm. Do you ever shoot shot or bird hunt with it?

But have not Turkey hunted with it yet. Iam just now feeling comfortable with the load combinations I come up with….so maybe a white tail with the Smoothbore this year,

Thats a gorgeous piece of wood Ness.
Turkey hunting is a blast with a smoothie. Just have to let them get real close. Rabbit is fun too. Though it is a little tougher to swing a 42 inch barrel in the thickets, let alone my 48. Any of your smoothies choked ?

Any of your smoothies choked ? I had one jug choked, I am not impressed with the results. Not that much of a difference from the cylinder bores

Beautiful gun and nice shootin'. Never tried shooting with no rear sight will have to give it a try. I shoot a .54 right hander and I'm left handed. Never had any problems
