Started using 15yrs ago for chronic lower back pain that doctors and chiropractor couldn't help with(except risky surgery). If I moved wrong my nerves pinched and I could barely get off the floor for till it loosened up. Take with fish oil pills daily and still have some pain but have but rarely have nerve attacks anymore. Has improved my life greatly. No bad side affects that I have heard from Doc. Not as expensive as prescription meds. It took awhile to help I say try for a month or so and see.
I've learned enough thru the years to now know that I don't know enough. KNOWLEDGE IS FREEDOM.

If it helps your knee and/or your mind, go for it.
I once saw an orthopedic surgeon who gave me a series of three injections in a bad knee, two weeks apart. I had an elk trip planned with my son. Doc said the synthetic synovium had a 50% relief rate, the exact same as the placebo, but insurance paid for it. It was about this time of year and too close to our October elk hunt for a knee replacement. I did it and it worked. Knee was better for two years. Went back two years later and we repeated the procedure, but with no relief. Had the knee replaced and that is a long story I won't bore you with again. Got infected in hospital.
The problem with your medicine is that the FDA does not regulate it. There are no quality standards and no dosage standards. You have no idea what you are buying or the quality of the product. Some say it works for them, and some have tried it and given up. I gave it to my dog for years.
Get out the popcorn.

I have used it for many years. If I miss a day I pay! Bad knees. I have tried several brands and have found only one that continues to work. I purchase it at Puritan Pride on line. I take 3 tablets a day 2 in the morning and 1 at night works the best for me. Never have experienced any side effects!
I love the smell of burning spruce---I love the sound of a spring time goose---I love the feel of 40 below---from my trapline I will never go!

I take no less than 10 vitamins that help joints. Boron is one of the best. Also stop coffee and pop and eat well.
Give an illegal alien a fish and he eats for a day. Deport him and you never have to feed him ever again!

not sure of your age and condition but knee pain may mean you need to start a knee fitness program or it will just get worse..bodyweight can also be a big issue..

Everyone's body is a little bit different so it doesn't surprise me that chondroitin doesn't help certain people.
