Oregon school board bans political flags and signs

When did Oregon become so radicalized? Up until last year, I never heard anything about how looney it has become. The place sounds as messed up as NY, maybe worse in some regards. Did the crazies from Cali invade?

Oregon has been a political crap holes for decades. They don’t call Portland, Little Beirut, for nothing.

my neighbor was telling me about newberg the other day - he was considering it for an option for his kids (because of the school boards actions). His wife was a teacher and pulled their kids out of the local public school and is homeschooling now, but she got a job offer at a local christian private school (with a good reputation) - so he will probably moving his kids to it. The local one that my dad went to and taught at (my grandmother too - I even attended most of the time) has gone completely to crap -- the reason we pulled our kids out for high school. The need a voucher system or something.

Rat pack -- NY probably had a republican governor more recently than Oregon did. I haven't had representation since the 80's

Politics should be kept out of school.
