I have a few, they fit better in some places. It's always nice to have options for different situations. I have one that's a perfect fit for ground hog holes. Nick is also a great guy. If I trapped more I would have more of his traps.

The 280’s are an all around trap. As Beav said, they just look better for an animal to shoot through.

I have two 2.5 “ ones perfect for 13 lined ground squirrels in my front yard. Just dig a little around the hole so they lay flat and stake off with a screwdriver .

Can't speak about the round traps, but I'm a big fan of his 5x5 square jaws

How do you stabilize them in the pipe? Bought a few this year for the exact same purpose, but cant get them stable. I cut a slot for the spring and tried bending it around, but the pipe is too thin for the spring to pinch securely

If your using plastic pipe you can burn slots with a hot piece of heated rod when your dying traps or other grinding, cutting type tools. Buckets, larger cans will work also.

10 inch plastic pipe.
