Guess it all depends on where you are. Some people dryer than a popcorn fart while others are getting copious amounts of rain

here is the link to the Dubuque lock and dam 12 north of the city you can see things are about 8 1/2 feet below flood stage

I think most people would like to see a bit more water it is better than it was

I can't speak to L&D 12 but 6,7,8 were just a foot above record lows back the 18th of June

Levels at Grafton have been very steady at around 15.5, which is a foot and a 1/2 lowish.

Creeks and ponds have all about dried up. Local river has a few springs to keep some water in it but it still looks sad. Raccoons and skunks have taken up raiding some of the local farm yards in hopes of finding enough to eat. Going to be a tough year for them!

Creeks are just about dry here.Very few nuisance beaver calls this summer.Beaver move to the lakes and rivers.
Not out of the ordinary for some years.
They will be back up come the september rains. And the beaver will start their september dispersal.

The Mississippi here at Prairie du Chien is up a foot or two from a week ago. There is a pile of moss/grass coming down right and your bait gets covered in no time along with having it snag on the line according to the guys I've talked to that have been out. North of us has been getting storms and rain right along but we're dry here.

Along with that the Wisconsin river is out of it's banks here with central Wisconsin getting pummeled with storms the last 2 weeks or so. I drove up to the boat landing at Millville today and the rivers almost to the parking lot and the lawns covered so there's no fishing off the bank there right now.

The smaller streams and rivers here are low because we're so dry.

Real spotty here too. We are still well below normal and have had about 7 inches the last month. 15 miles north of us they have had over 10, some places 12 inches over the last month. Rivers are high with sloughs low in many places around us.
