backroadsarcher OP trapper B Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 4,847 Frazee, MN	Got a chance to watch this last night in TV. Dick Proenneke lived there for 30 plus years by himself. Wow that man could build anything. Very interesting show and really enjoyed it.

Its a great segment and what really "messed" me up when I first saw it as a kid, that and Braving Alaska. Both on PBS. It should be noted though that Dick didn't live there full time.
