Is there a way to tell how old the photos are? I like the sounds of the one that updates every month. But I have ONXhunt and it works for me. There is one big error in the boundary lines in my area but I know where the real line is........jk

Yes , it's well worth the money. I use it all the time. Even when waiting for my wife while she is shopping I can still be checking out areas for trapping. Try out thier free trial and see if it fits your needs.

Great tool. I like to lay out possible traplines in advance in summer months with onyx. Then make the list of permissions that need obtained b4 season

The place you drive by going in to your place?

You should buy that to eliminate another close neighbor.

... It’s vacant and not on the open market ... no reason to at this time ... I did buy the little sliver of land and shack between that place and mine years ago off of the ol hand that had more livestock than the king ranch packed on a half acre lol

....Turned out to be a real good idea last month as my well fell in and there was a viable abandoned one ready to go right there with connected pipe up to my place ( it was all part of the original home place from the man I bought it off of years ago)

I use this app on a regular basis, mostly for hunting and trapping but sometimes just to be nosey and see who owns a certain piece of property. It’s well worth the money

It saved my butt when it snowed 8 inches on a trapping trip. I would never have found all my traps without it. That said I bought the property I now live on 2 years ago it still lists the previous owner and he has been dead over 3 years now.

Yep, love it. But as other have mentioned there are some other very similar cheaper options. GAIA, Basemap, etc. Basemap is $19.99/year for all 50 states about once a month or better on Camofire.com I got this last year of OnX for 59.99 on camofire before I learned about all these others of course!!! Happy trapping! ScottW

You can update that and sometimes that's what it takes.

Wish I had more time to trap....

I have it and love it. The crop filters are my favorite thing. You can turn that on and see what crop was planted in what field last year. So if you know the crop cycle for the area you will know what you're dealing with.

Helps me out a lot finding the corn fields when I'm scouting for ducks and geese

Gotta live up to the nickname...

Camofire.com has a 1 state 1 year on sale today for 17.99. This is the site I get mine from. They send a code and you pick which state you want.

I use it on every job. The 2 best features are the ability to lay a track every were you go and to drop pins on ever trap you set. Imagine walking onto a new ranch for the first time and confidently dropping equipment and knowing exactly where it is. Plus your dropped pins can be different colors I use blue for dirt hole, red for trail or flat set, and purple for snares. After a couple days of setting it allows a birds eye view of where you’ve been and how your diversified on the property. Wouldn’t go without it

I have it and use it regularly. Just don't take what it shows as gospel. I have owned one piece of property for over three years and it was updated after about a year to show the new ownership, a couple weeks later they did another update. That time all the previous landowner updates were lost and now it shows the previous owner again. Also property lines are iffy, some are dead on and some are off by 50 yards or more. But it is still a great tool, just know it's limitations.

Run mine on my phone when fishing the river. Let’s me mark bouys and hazards and where we have lines set. Gives me a little more confidence when fishing at night. Gonna run it on a 12 inch I-pad mounted in truck for right away ditch trapping this year. There is kind of a safety factor built in when you are laying a track that may be good or bad. If you give some one like your wife your login info they can find your body if you ain’t back at an approximate time. They could also see your vehicle parked at a beer joint which could also result in a dead body from time to time. crazy

If your’e standing at your waypoint you can take a photo on your iPad and phone and mark your waypoint with that. IE, you can do a photo waypoint.

worth it. Lines are Not 100% accurate where I hunt in former coal mines though.

I've used both OnX and Huntstand. Both are good for finding out landowner information and rough property boundaries.

They both use information generated by county tax assessor/commissioner files. As a result, the lines are not 100% accurate but close enough for anyone with common sense. The map layers may vary a bit.

I now only use OnX because of a much better price due to some work with the developer.

I suggest trying the free trial to see if you like it.
