finding one is stock may still be a little bit of a search

check with local dealers and see what they can order , the shelves have been a lot better lately but some things are still short supply

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Does that 243 shoot anywhere close to as tight as a bolt? My old man had an old savage .243 lever i slobbered over when i was young and he sold it. Always wanted one since.

I got my oldest daughter their mini .22 when she was 10, one of the most accurate rifles I have ever shot

DWC.. this is what I got out of it off of a pillow and truck hood at 150 ... it’s probably better than that with a sober shooter and a lead sled lol

I'm a bit shocked that's a Coors Light bottle cap, and not a Lone Star.

The long ranger is available in 223, 243, 6.5 Creedmoor and 308 I believe. I have the 243 also.

I'm wanting to get a Henry rifle as an all around rifle. I would use it for deer now and then, maybe a coyote or bobcat.

Is .223 enough for deer? I live in very wooded area so there wouldn't be any long shots. Is .243 too much for coyotes and bobcat? Thoughts?

Go with 243. I've shot a good amount of coyotes and cats witb a 243. Just use a bullet designed for deer and stay away from the varmint bullets. I've shot deer with 22 caliber guns and a good shot kills them dead but ive never seen a blood trail left by one. Usually can't even find the entry hole till I skin it .
