Here in the interior we are getting 2 US Postal Service mail deliveries, one is Amazon deliveries by the PO and the other is regular mail, (separate vehicles).

Is this something that has happened since the new administration (BIDEN)? I thought that the Post Office was running in the red. It just doesn't end does it? OR

Lack of accountability and attitude are the crumbling blocks of the USPO until that changes they will never make a profit mismanagement seems to be encouraged there.

We've been having 2 deliveries a day for a year or more. Asked my regular USPostal man and he said packages were backed up deep couldn't fit in his mail jeep and not enough hours in a day to keep up. So one delivers packages in the a.m. then goes back and works in the offfice while he delivers the rest of the mail. I live out in the country with a small town of 2000 people about 7 miles away. Every body nowadays still doing lots of shopping on the net instead of brick and mortar stores

Still just one delivery here in the sticks where I live.

Look in the back of a UPS truck if you get a chance they are stuffed with Amazon boxes.

The difference would be between UPS and the USPO is.

UPS is more packages need to fix the problem, USPO needs get through the problem service product not guaranteed

Says amazon is priority mail to be delivered first , no exceptions
Regular mail is delivered when they get to it
Most days it’s 9-10 o’ clock pm before she is done in the Huntsvillie Alabama area.
They were delivering 7 days a week before and after Christmas, couldn’t keep up.

We get one regular delivery most days. Maybe once a week (could be twice) a second truck shows up with our boxes - not Amazon since we don't order from them any more. Most of our boxed deliveries are UPS, with a few from FedEx but the USPS boxes don't come with the regular mail and they used to come together.

That second delivery has happened all days of the week including Sunday.

Amazon pays no taxes Plus very little shipping cost Trump flat out told the post office if they needed more money make Amazon pay more in postage! How do you think bezos became richest man in the world even after wife took half !!!!!

Last Saturday there were several different US Mail vehicles driving around our where I live. I got no mail. Finally on Sunday I went out mid-day, after I saw yet another US Mail vehicle stop at our box, and lo and behold there were letters in my mailbox that must have been delivered on Sunday.

Not real sure what's going on but it certainly is not efficient delivery of our mail.

At least you get packages they don't even try here just put a pick up at post office slip in the box. Which is real nice as its 40 miles to the post office. And its all contracted out for mail delivery.

started getting Sunday mail trucks for amazon packages about 3-4 years ago.

the mail subs were able to pick up hours delivering packages

as I understand it the added volume had been helping the USPS

now anything coming Sunday or even Saturday seems to come via Prime delivery Van
