Wolf you should put some time into setting down and writing a trapping book from your stories and maybe things from the archives. You have a great skill with words and a lot of skills and ideas.

No matter where you go there you are.

Great story. Thanks for sharing. We never know the impressions we leave on young men or women. Until it is revealed later in there memories they tell. I really would of liked to meet that uncle for sure.

Super story Wolfie!
Thought I was the only one catching birds, chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits, cats, possums, coons, etc all in the same Havahart live trap. Great minds think alike, lol.

Babbling?! Hardly.
While I was reading it, it seemed like I was watching the movie based on the story. I had visions of all of the characters in the story, I could smell the chicken coop, and the raccoons and possums in the back of the truck. I could see the old rickety truck (I'll be it was an old Chevy).
And best of all, I could see wee little Wolfie, running around full of (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) and vinegar, full of wonderment.
I find it is well worth making the effort to look back on ones life to revisit all of the encounters which put one on the path to what we become.
You made my day today.

X2, Wolfdog you found your gift from God . That was a great story. Combine your childhood memories and you would have a great book . You sure had me right by your side as I was reading your story.
