My little hometown grocery store is always is running out of my brands of beer so I asked today why that was? Answer: The distributors are only fulfilling about 25% of what the store orders every week for various brands of beer because there's not enough workers in the breweries. Ding bat president we got giving away money so you don't have to work is really irking me.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

I am disgusted with not being able to buy once common items, when I want to. Over the last year and a half, I have been unable to buy items including rubbing alcohol, toilet paper, paper towels, shoes, nestles quick, coffee, hersheys syrup, sugar, vinegar, bleach, skyline chili, bread, tortillas, canning supplies, cat food, buckets, plastic totes, Gatorade, seeds, bananas, ammunition, beans, flour, vanilla and canned soup at least a few times when shopping to every time.

UE in the US is about 5.5% so the number of former workers not working is not that great. What we don't know is how many who have not worked for years or ever are not looking and in many cases I am guessing business owners don't want to train them or work to make them productive as some have very limited capabilities or desires.
Bryce Im gonna bet the UE in the U.S is a lot higher than 5.5% , Businesses around here cant hire anyone , even at twice the minimum wage. Places are closing earlier and not opening on some week days because they cant keep or find staff. Many large stores have very few employees in them that should be staffed well.

Keith Yabut, none of that stuff is essential like beer, this is getting rediculous now.

Keith You left out powder, primers, brass, guns, and........ Welcome to communism. Get used to it. Instead of saying, "I'm going to the store, do you need anything?" you'll be saying "I'm going to the store to see if they have anything".

An old Polish farmer once told me someday you'll be standing in a store with a fistful of money but there won't be anything to buy that was probably 50 years ago had to do with people not raising food and dismal farm prices
