I am trying to identify a bunch of plants, berries, and firewood logs. I know just enough to get me in trouble. So far I have tried Google Lens and PlantNet with questionable results.

Are there any good ones out there? Alright, stupid question. I suppose most are good to some extent. Which ones work for you?

Thank you.
I just installed PictureThis, and it quickly and correctly identified a picture of a white ash, that I had on file. Compare that to PlantNet that offered it as a second choice possibility.

I'm headed out to take a bunch of pictures, and see what happens.

Good Point.

Based upon my recollection, such questions are nearly guaranteed to produce the correct answer.

(and, of course, a half dozen incorrect ones, too.)

The real reason for the app is my need for instant gratification. Betcha didn't know that I am a Millennial.
