Well figured I'd make a thread where we can all share pictures from this weekend. Now don't nobody go making another one lol.

Anyhow... The Boy and I took the older pup out to the goose field for the first time. No geese cooperated. Good start to the weekend. Then my Wife was taking senior pictures for a family friend at my sisters house. So we got the shotguns out and the scary black rifle and had the kids shoot. I call em the kids even though one is 18 and my niece is 22. Everyone enjoyed it and even broke a few clays.

that picture is just north of the Wyalusing town launch headed north to Glen Lake

Cassville and Petosi are pool 11 a little farther south although with the bridges out on 81 and county U we ended up in Petosi to get back to Platteville those bridges have been out all summer makes a long trip

That’s great for those youngsters,
Good times they will always remember and tell their friends about.

I feel stupid now, the change in pools is by Guttenberg, IA and I knew that. You were close to me as I'm in PDC now and I grew up running setlines and hoop nets with my Dad between Bagley and almost to Wyalusing. I lived at River of Lakes in Bagley for 12 years, year around until 2008. I miss that area between Glen Haven and Wyalusing for fishing as I knew the river a lot better there.

In the future if you're heading to Bagley from Platteville just go to Lancaster/Bloomington/Bagley. It's faster, it might be a few miles more but you'll make that up in time and the roads' better. My wife drove to UWP from Bagley everyday and that's what she done along with our weekend neighbors at River of Lakes who were from Plattteville and she'd follow them home at times on Fridays in the summer.
If 81 is completely closed now between Lancaster and Platteville you can run up county B out of Platteville and hit 61 to get to Lancaster.
