Article I read in Trapper's Post said average revenue is about 200 bucks a year. Do you guys agree? I'm not asking what you all bring in. Just a yes/no.

Lots of 1-3 critter a year trappers out there mostly kids or new trappers most don’t handle fur today so they are getting less for what they are catching because of that. I wonder if that is before or after expenses my guess would be before. It would take a LOT of carcass coons to hit $200 today with the current market so $200 might be high.

No not even with these low prices
But I bet with a lot of hobby trappers it’s close

LOL, I do believe the OP said $200 a year.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I can see $200.00 days but not many. It just depends on what your trapping and where your trapping.
There are still places where you can catch 100 rats a day with out to much effort.

Fur check would be that or a little better, but I’d guess I’m still the red if you factor in equipment, gas, etc

Talking about net profit on fur only?
And $200 for an entire year?
Seriously?
Yall should just go play golf or something. I run my own business, trapping takes time away from that. I can run a couple traps around the farm but I don't want to lose money trapping when I could be making money cutting down trees.

200 dollars? Costs me more than that to get out of my driveway first day of the season......
Not a big numbers guy but 200 dollars is pretty easy to hit....
The next question is the average age of the trappers hitting 200 dollars? Bet its all over 65 and guys and gals setting their five traps for the season. Do not begrudge this a bit just saying. You'd think that but depends on what you have access to.. With current prices... That's 40 muskrats or raccoon or 10-20 beaver fur only. 10-30 coyotes, 20-30 mink, 5 bobcat 20 fox.

Did the article specify ADC work/ or just selling fur?
I could see making doing better on ADC work, especially given the current fur market.
A raccoon in the attic is worth more than one on the roadside.
