If you have one please give me your thoughts on it good or bad. I am thinking of buying one.

We have not had good luck with them or their 4wheelers on the farm and feedlots. Probably went through 7-8 in 3 years. They would be fine for the light duty work

I have one and I am not impressed. A lot of cheap Chinese parts on them. Wheel bearings are known for going bad and the thing that drives me crazy is that they rattle a lot and are loud. Be careful when torque down the tires because they use Chinese studs that strip if you apply more than 45lbs of torque. I will probably trade it in on a Honda or Can Am.

I have a Kawasaki mule with 10,000 miles it’s been a good one. The dealer that sales Kawasaki and Polaris compared Polaris UTV as a light duty 4wheeler and the mules as being built like a truck, for what it’s worth That’s what we have switched to. Mules are mules for sure. We went to Honda for the 4-wheelers that have been holding up good against Jose A and Jose B

2004 Polaris Ranger 500 4X4, Still going strong after 17 years, replaced the battery after 3 months with a full sized r/v battery, small battery could not keep up with plow and & extra lights. In the last few years I have replaced the drive belt, brake pads, fuel pump & fuel line into fuel tank the got soft. Thought about buying new, But I look at prices now & I'll keep it.

From someone who uses them hard every year..... stay away from Polaris and go Kawasaki.

I started looking for a UTV with no bias against Polaris. Actually drove one while I was looking. But I found a lot of war stories about issues folks had with their Polaris and the lack of resolution from Polaris. I looked hard at Kawasaki Mule and Yamaha SxS along with the Honda Pioneer. All had good reviews but I decided to go with the gear drive Honda rather than the belt drives on the others. Other than that, ground clearance/suspension travel on the Mule was an issue as well....rode like Mule. The Mule did have the best set up for a bed for a work vehicle IMO. And Polaris has by far the most aftermarket accessories of any of them.
I have been happy with my choice of Honda, zero problem hunting and trapping. I do not do the mudding/trail riding thing.
And make sure you have good local service support for whatever you buy.

Myself and a few friends own or have owned 570 midsize rangers between 14 and 16 models. We have become very quick at fixing/replacing wheel bearings, u-joints, a-arm bushings, axles and about anything else other than motors. Only 1 out of the 4 has had transmission troubles. Couple friends own the Honda 700. Only con to them that I have seen is it is hard to water proof the cab if a man was to try and close it in.
