If you have one please give me your thoughts on it good or bad. I am thinking of buying one.

We have not had good luck with them or their 4wheelers on the farm and feedlots. Probably went through 7-8 in 3 years. They would be fine for the light duty work

I have one and I am not impressed. A lot of cheap Chinese parts on them. Wheel bearings are known for going bad and the thing that drives me crazy is that they rattle a lot and are loud. Be careful when torque down the tires because they use Chinese studs that strip if you apply more than 45lbs of torque. I will probably trade it in on a Honda or Can Am.

I have one. Bought it new in 2013. During trapping season I put around 60 miles a week on it. Plus more when deer season in.
No problems at all till recently. Last 8 months fuel pump, bearings, plus drive belt.

It does have a lot of squeaking in it.

Can’t say I’m disappointed in it but if I ever get another one will at least take a look at the Honda’s

Not a fan of Polaris. I will be buying a Can Am shortly.

I have a Kawasaki mule with 10,000 miles it’s been a good one. The dealer that sales Kawasaki and Polaris compared Polaris UTV as a light duty 4wheeler and the mules as being built like a truck, for what it’s worth

I have owned several. The only thing I don't like about them is the drive belts break.

We bought a 2021 NorthStar 1000 cc ranger last year. We absolutely love, we use it around our hobby farm and plow snow with it. The good thing about Polaris you can always get parts regardless of the year.

That’s what we have switched to. Mules are mules for sure. We went to Honda for the 4-wheelers that have been holding up good against Jose A and Jose B

I had a 800 Ranger. Had is the key word. What a money pit, constantly was fixing something. In fact it was so bad, I bought a service manual for it, couldn't afford to have shop repair everything. Was never in the river or mudding with it. Just was used for trapping mainly

I have 2010 ranger 800 5000 hard miles and 800 hours never changed the belt only a oil change here and there its running fine never has broke. We put a 60 gallon sprayer in it all the time and fill it to the brim. I just ordered a 2022 north star crew 2 weeks ago it will be in around November. Can am is also nice but watch videos on comparisons on YouTube and make your own decision. I have a outlander 1000 four wheeler it extremely nice but I'm selling it to pay for part of the northstar. I have a friend with a Honda less than a year old and needs a frame. I can promise you I'm way harder on my old ranger. I will admit it gets squeaky at times I wedged a 20 ga hull between the roof and roll bar it helped tremendously. Hahaha to each their own! Do your homework and get what you think is right for you.

2004 Polaris Ranger 500 4X4, Still going strong after 17 years, replaced the battery after 3 months with a full sized r/v battery, small battery could not keep up with plow and & extra lights. In the last few years I have replaced the drive belt, brake pads, fuel pump & fuel line into fuel tank the got soft. Thought about buying new, But I look at prices now & I'll keep it.

From someone who uses them hard every year.....
stay away from Polaris
and go Kawasaki.

I started looking for a UTV with no bias against Polaris. Actually drove one while I was looking. But I found a lot of war stories about issues folks had with their Polaris and the lack of resolution from Polaris. I looked hard at Kawasaki Mule and Yamaha SxS along with the Honda Pioneer. All had good reviews but I decided to go with the gear drive Honda rather than the belt drives on the others. Other than that, ground clearance/suspension travel on the Mule was an issue as well....rode like Mule. The Mule did have the best set up for a bed for a work vehicle IMO. And Polaris has by far the most aftermarket accessories of any of them.

I have been happy with my choice of Honda, zero problem hunting and trapping. I do not do the mudding/trail riding thing.

And make sure you have good local service support for whatever you buy.

For several years we used an 800 for utility line work through some very rough terrain. It got us there and back every time, so I can't say much bad about them

Myself and a few friends own or have owned 570 midsize rangers between 14 and 16 models.
We have become very quick at fixing/replacing wheel bearings, u-joints, a-arm bushings, axles and about anything else other than motors. Only 1 out of the 4 has had transmission troubles.
Couple friends own the Honda 700. Only con to them that I have seen is it is hard to water proof the cab if a man was to try and close it in.
