For the first time in YEARS.
A landowner called and asked me to keep an eye out on his property for goose activities.
He lives aways away and likes to hunt them. Did a few recon missions and reported what I saw.
There is a windy, grassy ditch that goes through the property that seemed like the geese liked to follow low.
He suggested to me to go sit and pass shoot.
I had no intentions to ever shoot another goose but thought, what the heck?
Got my stamps and got settled 8n the grass in the dark waiting for sunrise.
They came flock after flock!
My shooting kinda sucked but had an absolute HOOT!
Roscoe has had many grouse/ pheasants in his mouth but never waterfowl.
He did well and we had a great time.
Gonna definitely do it again soon.

Nice. When I was in college in crookston we hunted the same way near Mentor. We would get in those dry ditches and then just run like heck to get under the birds. I miss those days.
