So I gotta say y'all, I think we're all a bit sheepish in a way ,but some of the crap I've heard lately about why people are still backing Biden is beyond what should be acceptable. I don't foam at the mouth for trump (I liked him for the most part though )however I feel anyone with half a brain should be able to see Biden isnt a good option.but due to recent events I'm starting to understand or at least see some of the logic behind people who voted for him.

So if y'all know about the south you most always make the little small talk with the cashier right? Well lately alot of it's been about Biden. Usually just respond with something along the lines of "yeah idk why anyone would vote for him ect" in the last 48 or so hours (alot more this year but the fact this happed in the last two days made me really take notice a bit more ) I've had about four separate people speak up to try and defend themselves ( why they found it nessecery is a mystery) and so far they all Ben alone the same lines of
" Well I want about vote for no republican "
" Black people vote democrat that's just what you do"
Even ,and I can't make this up
" I just vote for who ever my mamma says because she watches the news" and that was from a woman in her 20's it seemed.And I've heard this stuff alot now that I think of it but I cannot understand this level of "sheeple" logic .it's like the fact thinking for yourself is almost bad for your health or something. Like I don't get it , mabye it's because I was the weird kid and always thought different but this is getting nuts

There is a saying that has recently popped up......something to the affect of voting for policy or personality. The smart thing to do is go for policy and accept any personalty defects as in the long run, you will be better off. Problem is 99 out of 100 won't do that. They are not bright enough to understand the policy so look at personalty. We all know one or two.

My take is the majority of Biden voters wanted Trump's agenda, but without Trump around to run it. They got suckered and having seen the carnage being racked up, are having buyer's remorse.......more like they don't want to accept their part of the blame for what is going on.

Hopefully next election cycle will put the brakes on, unless they rig the rules before then so that can't lose. Do that and it's over.

The Distinguished Gentleman. Speaking of that movie and what it was about. How in the world can folks vote for keeping what goes on there without trying to do something about it? The whole country should be outraged not entertained by it.

A smart response would be. All politicians are crooks , hardly an honest one in the bunch doesn't matter the party , however , if you don't look at what the candidate stands for , compare it to what they have done and what your values are and try and pick the least worst candidate that most closely represents your values then you are being used , because your black , because you nana has her reasons , because your being irresponsible.

It is time to grow up , do your research and vote your values or just spare us all the pain and don't vote.

You know my dad used that term alot. Him being a teacher he'd always talk about how much his students should get out of that mind set. Couldn't stand when I kid said they doing something because that's what their parents said. Walked by his class many times to here him going of about thinking for themselves. Said he had 13years in the army and could think for him self better then most of his students.

You know I talked about this with one of the old guys at work. Told him I found it odd that he never talks about the news for someone his age. He looked dead at me and said the news ain't news anymore, its control. Talked about how y'all used to have actual investigation reporting Walter Cronkite and all. Said that's when you wanted the news to be informed then he said it became about ratings ,you wanted it to be entertained,then politics ,watched it to know then it because a unholy mix of the last three with a splash of programming made if very clear to think about why it's called "public programing". Before he walked off he said he flew huminatarian planes for a three letter organization in nam and the government is ales up to something and propaganda is a huge one
