The way he bad-mouthed the team and the players maybe they decided they didn't have to play too hard for him either.

The Pack was pegged to be 3.5 favorites and that obviously was not the case. We will see if their is significant progress and soon. I don't know much about the inner workings of players, coaches, management and owners but I will state how I feel this is playing out from my perspective. To me there is some obvious carry over on the field from the off-field issues past and probably present. There are 53 players, taxi squads, injured and then all the coaches and staff that are caught in these ego issues between a few major impactors and to me that can really be an energy, emotion and mental drain on what I would term the majority of the team and staff. Yes none at that level are what we would call ordinary in capability but to me they become wrapped up in these issues. It is not unlike the trend in our culture today at almost any level or sector where being a team member or a contributor does not get the spot light or the grease. One of the reasons individuals rant and to extreme things and create notable issues is that in our culture it works and works well.
