Directly across from NYC in Bayonne, NJ sits the 9/11 memorial "Tear Drop". Most people have never heard of it or where it came from. This 100 foot tall monument was gifted to the people of the US by the people of Russia. It's in memory of all those who lost their lives on that fateful day. The giant tear drop signifies the tears of the entire world that day. Maybe it's something that needs to be known starting today.
Who would have expected something like this from our "archenemy" Russia????
I don't care how nice the hand soap smells, you should never walk out of the restroom sniffing your fingers.

Thanks for posting the picture Cragar, I was wondering what it looked like.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

As trappers, if we were to list most of our ideology, I think it would align more closely with Putin's ideas than with Biden's. Sorry to say it, but I think it's true.

Thanks for posting the picture Cragar, I was wondering what it looked like. No problem , you are welcome. I have never seen it or heard of it. Thanks goes to Trapper7 for starting this thread and bringing awareness to this monument. I just searched the net for the pic. I think it looks kinda cool , very symbolic. Thank you to the Russian people who gave it to us. I am going to put it on my list of things to see next time I am in that area whenever that may be. It is roughly 1 1/2 hours away from where I am , so it might be awhile as I am not going to make a special trip , but I would like to see it in person.

There are good people everywhere. It's governments, politicians, media that spread hate and doom and gloom. The big boys don't want to fight each other. It's not wise and economical too.
I spoke to a young man from Ukraine the other day. He came to the US as a small child and still has some of the Russian dialect. We talked about his birth country and Russia itself. Him and his father hate Putin. We also talked about that was I trained and told to hate folks like him and be prepare to meet on an European battlefield. If it had happened, I told him. It would have been myself and father killing at each other. The folks in Iran, irag and Afghanistan are not bad people. Just a few that spread hate. Just like here in the US. A few haters are the cause of most of the problems. People will work it out and get along. Blacks, Hispanic, Asians, and White would get along if it wasn't for the media spreading hate 24/7. Sarge

A friend of mine said she and her daughter visited the monument. All she could say was, "You have to see it to believe it!"
