I too wish he'd take the time to write these down and put together a book; sort of a primer for real bush living. Sort of Steinbeck-esque? Perhaps something like "Of Marten and Men"? Jack

Lugnut trapper L Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 20,033 SEPA	I agree, White is a fantastic writer. Ten or fifteen years ago he posted a story here on Tman about a passage along the coast of British Colombia. It was an outstanding story. I even printed it out and read it to my kids. I lost the original printout and some years ago I ask him to post it again. He did and I still have that copy...somewhere...I think... The other short stories he has occasionally posted here are of equal high quality. If he would compile them into book form I could stick it in my library know where they are at all times! Eh...wot?
