Are you talking about real southern deep frying, with plenty of flour coating or that pukey, northern, rolled around in butter frying? Put a good cold water or milk batter on "anything" and it's good.

Fried chicken is a big deal locally for me. I love me some good chicken we have Chesters Chicken here and some good rotisserie places also.

Fried Monte Cristo Sandwich. It's delicious but it will kill you if you eat it too often.
sliced turkey, sliced deli ham, and American cheese between three slices of bread like a club sandwich. Pin it together with toothpicks. Dip it in batter made from milk, flour, egg, and a little baking powder and sugar. fry it in oil until it's golden brown. remove the toothpicks and let it cool a few minutes.

Bloody marys? We used to do a fish fry, had 6 fryers going feeding around 100 guests. Fish, chicken, shrimp, alligator, elk, bear, moose, crab rangoon rolls, jalapeno rolls, fries, onion rings, fried oreos, funnel cakes, fried donuts, fried cherry and apple wontons, mushrooms, cauliflower, mini-corndogs, hushpuppies, cheese balls,,,,,, all from scratch, hand battered or breaded. Cooked for about 1.5-2 hours straight. No one left hungry! Huge bonfire and beverages to follow. Sounds like a good time. "Huggies", You think of everything Jayme! LMAO
