A professor was on his way to lecture in yet another university. He had been doing the same lecture the past 8 months.

His chauffeur said, "Hey professor, I've heard your speech so many times I bet I could deliver it and give you the night off."

"That sounds great," the professor said.

When they got to the auditorium, they changed clothes. The professor put on the chauffeur's hat and settled into the back row.

The driver walked on the stage and delivered the speech flawlessly.

There was still 10 minutes left in the class. A student wearing large black glasses, obviously the analytical type, stood and asked, "Professor, if a dinosaur died, his carcasses rotted, and his bones were covered over with 5000 feet of silted overburden, then a wildcat oil drilling venture drilled down, struck the bones drilling through them. What would the PH factor in the drill bit likely be and what would be the name of the stratosphere at that depth?

The chauffeur was panic stricken for a moment, but quickly recovered. He said, "I'm really surprised you wouldn't have a more complicated question. In fact, that is such a simple question, I'm going to let my chauffeur answer it".

The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

Good one.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

If you really want to laugh, look up Jerry Clower to tell that one. You can also listen to coon hunts with Jerry and Marcel Ledbetter (sp). Tears come I laugh so hard.

Ol' Jerry Clower was a funny guy. Makes me smile just thinking about his stories.
