This isn't really a question has much as what I found out. I picked up dog scat from my yard and placed it in 3 location where I had good coyote sign. What I found in only 4 days on trail cam was coyote are not to interested. Out of 6 coyote only one really even slowed down and the one that did was just a slow not a stop. The one funny thing I found is that someone else knew there was coyote sign in the area also because he came in with a plastic bag and picked up all the dog droppings. I just had to laugh. Can't believe the guy didn't know it was dog.

I have not found it optimal. Wish it was... it'd make scat patrol easy.

To each their own but I usually just make a couple sets where I find more than one dropping. Never thought it was worth carrying around. Yes it absolutely is an attracter but not a magic bullet. i think its more useful in letting you know when your in a high population area. i watch for it when driving on gravel roads

Met a federal wold trapper at red wolf preserve in NC. Turds were all he used for red Wolf and coyote.

yep. quite few of those feds cant catch their butt with both hands tied behind their back
