Attach a snare swivel to the eye of your spring…use 1/8 inch cable. Great way to add a swivel point on a body gripper. And also a nice spot to wrap your trap tag too.

Nessmuck what are you using to dye your traps . I'm looking to get away from paint .

Get an old garage door weight( 20 #) and attach to that swivel and drop when trap attached- that way you test your closings of the crimpted ferrets

the glue gun squirted on the loose cable ends saves many a water-proof glove puncture.

I leave the cable a ch inside the ferrule before smashing it with a Hammah.....so no bleeding fingahs !
