The Beav OP trapper T Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 23,834 Wisconsin	Got back today. The 3 of us brought back our possession limit on eyes. Biggest ran about 24" and we threw all those back. Kept the 17" through the 20 inchers. We fished Antelope lake It's near Harvey ND. Devils lake Is to big and the wind was pretty bad every day we fished. WE also fished Stump but didn't do so well there. W caught our perch on Golden Lake they ran from about 10" and a few hit 13". .We also caught and brought back some ND gold. You were right Steven, It's pretty dry out there and rat trapping would have been just about impossible. It was a great trip. The forum Know It All according to Muskrat

Some of them were over a LB and bite like crazy. And on a light rod they put up a pretty good fight. My buddy smokes them and they are great eating. The ND fishing magazine said they were a problem In Golden Lake so we tried to put a dent In It.LOL The forum Know It All according to Muskrat

My old man was blind and every once and while, cleaning those things, he'd get nailed by one of the "spines" of the side fins. Never knew if it was dad's or the fish blood in the basement sink.
