Greed.
Here’s an example. Lifetime work comp injury, xxxmg Celebrex, $859 per month. Same prescription that is for his wife, same same, $12 per month. Why?
Stupid games. Look a the EPI pen thing a couple years ago and the stupid circus games for hearings they had. They got us by the balls and they know it. It’s the American way.

No need to pay-off when Dad is the chair of the congressional committee that investigates. See EPI pen debacle.

Get a hold of the FDA's Green Book which list drugs used for both animals and humans. Might find the drug cheaper.

We have a friend who lives in Texas. He makes several trips to Mexico and picks up prescriptions. He gets inhalers for my wife's asthma that would cost her around $500 for 3 months here after insurance and in Mexico for less than $100. Why do you think the people who have invested in remdesivir are saying it's the only viable cure for covid? It's all about where the most money is. Not enough money in Ivermectin or Regeneron.
The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

Same reason a aspirin cost you $10 in a hospital and the paper cup it comes in will cost you 100 times what it’s worth. The medical field has a strong lobby to avoid being regulated. Billion dollar non-profits are thieves with the prices they charge people.

Quality control from Mexico would worry me but Canada standards not so much way more trustworthy. Many of the knockoff stuff from Mexico is just cosmetic imitation junk you can bet some items are fake and dangerous even.

My wife had to get a tetanus shot, when paying the bill ,there were 2 charges for the shot.I called the hospital,it was $70.00 for the medication and $36.00 for the syringe. Picked up an inhaler this week. With insurance the price was $47.00,the cash price would have been $380.15. And some wonder why some people have to choose between food or their medications---our medical system is atrocious and getting worse. Tom

Tom I'm surprised they didn't charge you another $42.00 for the environmental disposal fee for that syringe plus $12.00 for the band-aid.
