Buy kegs and the cheapest booze you can . . . nobody will care after the first few drinks anyway, IT'S FREE! . . . save your money!

Two working days and you’re just now getting after this? BYOB.
I would add another 2 of a different distilled or go 3 & 3. Beer maybe 75 if you can’t get kegs. Anything left isn’t going to be wasted.

I'm getting married on Saturday. Some will drink heavily some won't drink at all. There will be around 200 people there. How many cases of beer? How much whiskey and vodka would you buy? Were looking at 50 cases of beer. 2 handles of crown and 2 handles of vodka. Think that's over kill? ... you’re in the perfect position to cancel the event... ride over to the JP and then just keep all that beer and firewater for yourself lol

Kegs are much cheaper. Never did the conversion so I did a search 165 cans in a half keg which equals just under 7 cases per half keg. Get your crown and vodka at Costco. 1.75 L there is usually as much as a fifth anywhere else. Don't forget the mixers for vodka and crown. Costco's brand of vodka is really good same with their silver tequila.
Id say not over thinking it. Congrats by the way.
Hopefully you or someone you know has keg taps because they can get expensive.

Most women prefer wine. I've made wine for weddings, and it was always a big hit with the ladies. I brought 24 bottles to a wedding with about 100 folks and there was only a couple bottles left at the end.

Are we invited? Only two days to go, I have to figure out what to wear. OK Jeans is it. Boy in this environment of food delivery/supply problems you are taking a chance on getting nothing. There is a big problem in the butchering and delivery systems around here. My buddy is a butcher in a small general grocery store and there supply is very irregular. Good luck from all of us........jk

Go with kegs. Most distributers if you don't tap it they'll refund it. So if you get down to the last hour of the night and the keg kicks don't tap another. Also a good idea to have at least 2 types of beer. Once again one of those kicks in the last hour to hour and a half, make them drink the other. Don't tap one.
As for liquor, unless you have a bar tender, you probably won't need much. A lot of time liquor causes more trouble than what it's worth.
I agree with wine for the ladies. If your bride likes it get her favorites in both a red and a white. That way if you don't go thru it all, the wine you take home will be what she likes.

200 people, figure each person drinks an average of 3 beers since some won't drink at all and some will only have a social beer. And figure that only probably about half your crowd will drink beer, the other half will want wine. 2 kegs, 40 or 50 bottles of wine for the ladies. Leave the hard liquor at home, gets too expensive and people get to actin' a fool!
Gotta live up to the nickname...
