nvwrangler OP trapper N Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 4,838 Nevada	Anti about 15 lbs its driving over sage that gets me just puts sticks in them. We had that loaded down 3 guys 2 cows , 4 wheel low to get up those steep spots.

nvwrangler OP trapper N Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 4,838 Nevada	It was up hill, he'd already helped a guy haul one out in 1 trip about 1/2 of a mile side hill. He did a front and a hind plus the head that trip. We had put a big bunch of elk to bed actually 2 groups and drove the half hour to get where we could make a stalk and there was a guy sitting in his SXS right where we needed to park. We chatted with him and he was hunting alone and had been there for 6 days and hadn't seen a cow yet. So we took him with us to kill a cow. Made the shots and got ready to go start packing and this guy didn't even have a pack and only one 10 inch knife like Rambo type knife. Son in law showed him the gutless method and helped him pack his out while I started skinning and quartering mine. we were able to get the SXS to within 300 yards from mine so it wasn't too bad.
