Can someone please explain to me her logic. Because here's the thing, she's against me trapping or even hunting because it's cruel to the animals but she doesn't think that how other animals eat each other(including coyotes eating pet dogs, and cats which she owns two!) isn't, while her also eating any type of meat that we buy. She can't even stand the sight of my traps which seems weird. Which is sometimes the reason why I tease her with my two fur hats and pelt that I have. So do any of you have any suggestions on why she hates it so much? Because I love it since it's natural, authentic and it's just nice material to use and good meat to eat.

A good life tip:
And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Matthew 7:3
Humans are omnivorous predators, plain and simple. Not every human nowadays chooses to go out and prey upon wild animals, and that's fine. But it's nonsensical to be appalled at what we're biologically designed to be..
Snap your hand in some of your traps and show her it doesn't hurt. Then find some coons with distemper and show her the videos. Find videos of coyotes with mange so bad they freeze to death then explain how trapping removes the surplus from the landscape and thins out the population so the animals aren't in such close contact and in turn don't pass on the diseases as quickly. Like social distancing for wildlife lol.. she may never get it but don't be discouraged. Some people are against things they don't like and thats just how they are, its ok. Just don't attack her views as that can make her feel personally attacked and will only harden her views about hunting and trapping.
Here is a couple videos I made.
Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
Trap Setter has it . As he said also, don't make her feel defensive either. You will have only a hostile audience.
You said you tease her. THAT right there would will close the door on two-way respectful communication. Don't shove your thoughts in defense, as to what you think she should respond or handle , either. It is how she feels, NOT what you think she should feel.
You are very young....either people learn what it means to have discernment and insight on both animals and humans, faster from a little experience, or never get it and keep blundering into walls put up from roughshod behavior. You have a wonderful chance to learn how to gain your audience with skill, respect and patience .
Well I don't tease her much, most of the time I'm just moving the traps or I'm just excited with what I recently got and she says how could you type of thing. And most of the time when I'm trying to reason with her it's not a hostile type, just a how's this if this type of thing. Though she is a youngest of the family. And about the teasing, us as a family tend to tease each other quite a bit and it's all in good nature. So for the most part when I have my furs/traps out I don't tease her or anything unless she comments about them to me, which she sadly almost always does, which can drive me crazy. And does what siblings do to each other.
And yes I am the one with the issues post a week or so ago. (That topic won't be discussed unless PMed to me individually)

And it's not like my whole family doesn't like it, it's only her. But I guess we all have weird quirks that we may or may not know about, just hers drives me crazy sometimes. lol

I have a co-worker dyed in the wool Bears fan
she grew up practically in the shadow of Lambeau field
she just decided as a kid she needed to be different , she is 60 now so I don't' think it will change
even has a portrait of Ditka on her desk

Trapsetter's idea of putting your hand in a trap is a good one. Back when we were trying to get an earlier muskrat season on the Mississippi (rather than having to wait till the close of the duck season) I testified before the Natural Resources Board. I fully expected concerns about dogs getting into them so I brought a 1 1/2 longspring and a 110 off my line. When testifying, the inevitable question about harming dogs came up so I promptly set both of them and stuck my hand in to show that the traps merely restrain the animal rather than harming them. No problems for a hunting dog, either. Some of the upper echelon folks near me winced and thought I was absolutely nuts.
It all worked and we can now trap rats here on the River prior to the close of duck season.
ah, yes, one thats afraid of reality, one life exploits the life of another, does the fox not exploit the life of the mouse for his benefit? does the beaver not exploit the life of the aspen for his food and housing? what animal does not exploit the life of another for its own gain? its the way of the world, life and death, get used to it.
soft times create soft people, your sister is soft. For her I hope she doesn't live to see the hard times that will surely come, she might not be able to handle its reality.
