Well maybe they shouldn't promote 2 to 3 day shipping if they can preform there job. And yes I got my money back on the next day shipping but it postponed the water test by a week. The issue isn't with the post office but with the sorting facility.

My bank sent me a Email that the post office service will be even slower so to plan ahead for mail in payments. Looks like they are adjusting their promises to meet their service.

My beef with them is they take no ownership in their promises and mistakes they choke on their own policies.

For everyone complaining about the post office - are you aware that starting October 3rd and through December 26, they are adding a peak season surcharge to every package.

75 cents per package on priority and Express. Something else for you to gripe about.

Would you like more examples.

I’m perfectly happy with the service I get from UPSP. I’ll take them most any day over UPS.

I think it may depend on where you live. Here, I have about a 50/50 chance of a USPS package getting here when they say it will. Most packages are only 1 or 2 days late, though. So if someone ships me something on a Monday, I'll likely get it on Friday. Usually about once a month though I will have a package be over a week late from the date it said it would be here. A few months ago Pete sent a package to Gritguy... it never got there at all. UPS though, for me, has always been here exactly on the day they say. Fedex is even more of a crap shoot than USPS. Either it gets here on time, or doesn't get here at all.

The USPS sucks.

Who do you think delivers a huge portion of UPS packages? That's right. The USPS. I laugh every day they back up to the USPS dock to offload
Packages they don't deem "profitable " for them

All my UPS packages come on a big, brown UPS truck, not a little white and blue USPS jeep.

Eh...wot?

You get free delivery bud. Doesn't cost you a penny unless you send something in the mail or pay the shipping cost of the person mailing you something. Mom sending you a birthday card doesn't cost you squat.

Well thank you Captain Obvious for that useless piece of information. LOL

Do you work for the postal system? It seems like you have a lot invested in sticking up for them. Does this mean you're going postal on us?

Eh...wot?

My biggest gripe is their unreliable tracking system.

They don't promote 2-3 day shipping. Just because it says priority doesn't mean 2-3 days. You can read into that any way you want .

I occasionally hate on the Post Office, however, recently they have been pretty good; at least a WHOLE LOT better than FEDEX. Don't even think about using FEDEX.
The last three things to come my way vie FEDEX (not my choice) took between 10 days and 4 weeks. Two from about 800 miles away, and one from the east coast.

You're right. They promote priority shipping as being ONE to three days, not TWO.
