I wonder how many of these photos are "experimental" types of rigs...? When I was a kid, you could build a model of the U.S. Marine "Ontos". This "thing" was actually operational and used to some degree in Vietnam. Interesting... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M50_Ontos
