LOL, At a yard sale I might have tried to get it for $5, but if it isnt on mark down Goodwill doesnt budge. Once they learn the brand it will get put in a display case and they will ask $500 for a $350 jacket no matter if its in perfect condition or ripped in half covered with paint.

I'll double your money and pay shipping!

Nice deal. I have a hard time seeing how/why someone would pay 350 for the jacket, are they really that great?

I dont believe that they can be worth that price for what this jacket is. Now if I was looking for extreme cold weather gear I would buy pricey higher end stuff. But this appears to be a lighter weight minimally insulated water proof jacket. I dont think I could bear to wear it hunting because my hunting clothes get used and abused.

It's like buying a coach purse but for "men". Probably also used as a way to start a conversation with similar leaning men, if you get my drift.

I'd be really happy to find that for that price.
However, I'd still pack my Helly Hanson.

Way to go!
I have tried almost all the high tech super fabric brands, from KUIU to Sitka to Cabelas to First Lite etc Last one remaining is Kryptek, which I’ve heard only good things about. If women had a tough time getting clothing made to fit their feminine forms, big guys also have a tough time fitting into the high tech stuff. It’s all cut for guys at 5% body mass just off their college varsity football team. I’m back to mixing and matching Filson wool with some Gore Tex this and that. But if this fits you, it’s the buy of the century

Funny how it's always the people who've never used the gear that take shots at it. Nothing beats HH for true abysmal weather gear, but that's not what that jacket is designed for. It's a brushed face Gore tex jacket that's designed not to be as noisy as regular rain gear. That brushed face will wet out quicker than a regular shell, but that's a bow hunting from a treestand or still hunting jacket. You scored that at a great price, and Sitka has a lifetime warranty against defects and a really nice repair service if you thrash it somehow. Funny how guys will spend big money on other gear and wear cheap clothing and endure preventable misery at times. To each their own.

I cant bash it because this is the first piece I have ever owned. It is just priced in a range that is higher than I can or need to be paying. I can say that buying purpose designed clothing that fits your budget makes hunts more comfortable. So I have a few decent pieces but still use a lot of low price, handed down clothes.

Yep it fits pretty good. One size bigger than I normally wear, which is how I like outer layers.

I have no doubt that is probably true. I just cant get past the price tags they carry. Fortunately here the weather doesnt get to extreme during hunting seasons. Lets just say I dont shy away from thick stuff, sometimes to the detriment of whatever my outer layer is. This will definitely have to be a tree stand use only jacket.

I just buy good used clothes that are in great condition for 50% of retail, I will not pay retail because it is out of my budget.

I watched the rockslide classies when I wanted something but now I have all I want.

The fanatic bibs/jacket is really good and very well designed.
