This photo was posted on a local facebook page and was in a state forest. The face is obviously lynx but the coloration of the sides and belly look bobcat-ish. Im not well versed in lynx or what they look like in the summer so not sure if they are more brown in the summer.

Definitely a lynx.
Their summer coats are a reddish colour.

Look at the size of the feet-the black tail tip and prominant ear tufts.

The size of the feet is what I noticed first. They're huge! lol

Bob cat. Straight back gives it away. Lynx have a sway back appearance because the back legs are substantially longer than the fronts. Bob's are too but not nearly as much.

Well a lynx from Canada, and a bobcat from Alaska. I'm thinking a Lynx/Bobcat hybrid maybe? 2nd picture, always thought a lynx had a all black tip, and the bobcat had a white under tail.

You are correct about the tail Spade.

Could be a hybrid too.

Has the rear legs and tuffs of a lynx but the coloration of a bobcat to my eyes.

I'm saying hybrid. Solid black tail tip, no white like a bobcat would have.

Black tipped tail and large feet indicate lynx. Bobcat has three black bars across top of tail not a solid black tip. Face and colouration do look like bobcat though.

The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.

No question in my mind. I've heard of 'em but have never seen one. It's clearly a bobolink.

It looks like bobcat/lynx hybrid to me.

Bobcat/lynx hybrids have been found and proven by genetic testing in Minnesota before.

Female lynx. Nice spotting would be nice fur when prime.

Looks lynx to me. The only bobcat characteristic is the coloring, but that is very likely has to do with summer coat. The flattish back in the first photo is likely due to it being mid stride with hind leg stretched out. Stand that cat on all fours and you have the hind end sitting higher. My 2 cents and as we alll know, you cant buy much with 2 cents anymore..
