Are cv boots entirely constructed thru out of oil resistant rubber or material ? Couldn't help but douse a cpl pretty good in fluid film other day an not really want to spray off brake cleaner either, fluid film can make non oil resistant rubber expand , not want have replace them

They better be oil/grease resistant! Every boot I've seen fail failed on a crease.

I wonder if ok to leave or bother clean off something as expensive if clean off something, I seen what it did to old donut spare tire on valve stem cap, swell up an won't tighten but had goop around it as very rusty donut an around it above on frame underbody , u can buy kit cvs boots in half's so that can replace without disembly stuff but not wanna do that , fluid film cause non oil resistant rubber to swell
