Not on strike yet. Contract doesn't expire until midnight. Could possibly extend the current contract. We'll see.

OTTUMWA, Iowa — Auto workers in Ottumwa and across the Midwest are in the middle of a contract dispute with John Deere.
Members of United Auto Workers (UAW) unions entered negotiations with the company in August.
John Deere is proposing cuts to employee pay and other healthcare benefits.
Thousands of workers in Iowa and Illinois plan to strike if John Deere and UAW are unable to reach an agreement.
The negotiations came up during a press briefing at the White House Wednesday. White house Press Secretary Jen Psaki told reporters the Biden Administration is aware of the dispute and is following it closely.
“The President is deeply concerned when he sees companies making record profits, padding the pockets of CEOs, and expressing concern about paying a little bit more so that we can invest in our workforce, invest in cutting costs for the American people, invest in the climate crisis,” Psaki said Wednesday. “That’s deeply concerning. That’s one of the fundamental reasons he thinks we need to make the tax system more fair and believes that companies can do that without passing on costs to the American people.”
The current contract, which has been in place for six years, expires Thursday.

Always looking for a place to divide the nation and looking for someone to be the boogie man - so they can save us. Can't campaign-promise to save the people unless there's a bad guy to save us from. Problem is, if they actually fixed the problems, we wouldn't need them to fix the problems.

He’s an economic genius! Has he ever run a business? Perhaps he was an Owner Operator when was driving that big rig?
