I have had over a doz. and a half different jobs in my life.
Its too short to hate going to work every day and coming home all (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) off just to end up kicking the dog.

Its a good thing to change jobs, you gain experience that you won't if you stay at one place.
No down side to moving one

I will add that when I started working for the company it was horrible. Crap pay, awful boss, and it was in a time were jobs were far and few between. Stuck with it, had a long term plan to be able to make some change and now own it. My crap week was due to in most part employees and of course gov. covid crap. there are two sides to every coin. Even as divided as our gov. has us. Take a deep breathe and think about both sides of the coin. All we have been hearing is labor shortages. Right now lots of shops laying off in my area due to chip shortages. Some will not make it. The pendelum (sp) swings always. Not taking a side. Enjoy your posts. Just wanted to weigh in with advice from a different view. Good luck with happiness!

I had a good paying white collar job for 20 years with good benefits, worked out of my house, practically my own boss. The problem is I hated the actual work. The only thing that saved me was the company downsized and I lost the job at age 45 and forced me to start a second career that I loved. It took a lot of work to get into the second career but when I look back, I wish I would have pursued something else immediately. I found out if you hate your job, the other parts of your life are not as enjoyable since the next morning you know you have to go back to doing something you hate for 8 hours or so and it goes on and on.

I was thinking it felt like a 50 hour week , close 49 3/4 I know that isn't that long , a bunch of it comes an hour here and there in the middle of the night.

absolutely the worst week for nation wide communications outages in my entire career.

and nothing I could do about it , nothing my customers could do about it but be down.

way to much of our infrastructure is in one basket then a bully came buy and smashed the basket.

then the current administration basically encourages cyber attacks on private industry outright telling cyber criminals and foreign governments the administration will do nothing.
